(WETM) – After almost a decade, Amy DeNunzio, daughter of the late James DeNunzio is bringing her father’s sausage recipes back to Elmira.
Her father opened a shop in the ’70s but the family had to close up shop after his passing. Now Amy is re-opening their store to carry on her father’s legacy.
“This began in the 70s when my father opened a deli on the corner of Second and Grove Street. I will continue the same recipes that my father taught me. So, pretty much everything he did I did and continue this, I miss it.” said owner Amy DeNunzio.
Products available will include Italian sausage, pickled sausage, and lasagna and she hopes to open in early October.
Amy also hopes to sell her artisanal products on wholesale just as her father did.
