Donna’s Restaurant, on Market Street in Corning, will be closing its doors, according to their Facebook Page.

The owner wrote, “I am sitting at home with tears running down my face as I post this. After owning my restaurant for almost 34 years and making it my life I was served an eviction notice from the building owner. My last day in business will be Saturday August 25th and the premises must be emptied by September 1st. At this time I have no idea what my next step will be as far as reopening in a different location. There really is not a doable space available that will meet the needs. Not only am I losing my only source of income but my employees are also. Emotions are all over the place and right now I really can’t deal with all of this happening. Thank you all for the support and love you having given me.”
