ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) — Dr. Stephen Coleman stopped by 18 News Today to discuss an upcoming concert fundraiser to raise money for the Arctic League.
This is an independent venture by Dr. Coleman with the help of WEHH Radio. This will be the first annual summer concert benefit. There will be nationally and internationally known musicians performing, as well as radio personality Ray Ross as Emcee.
The event is being held Wednesday, August 7 from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Elmira Heights Theatre located at 210 E 14th St. The doors will open at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $10, or two for $15, and are available now at the Elmira Heights Theater’s Box Office. Those who buy two tickets will receive two free tickets to a future movie of their choice at the Heights Theater. All proceeds will go toward the Arctic League.
The Arctic League is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that no child in Chemung County goes without gifts on Christmas.
