You might remember Drake Bell from his Nickelodeon television show “Drake and Josh”.

Now as the years have gone by, he has taken on his music career in full stride. Bell brought his musical talents to the Twin Tiers Thursday night.

He performed at the Journey Center in Horseheads where many of his fans remember him from their childhoods.

“I’ve watched him in ‘Drake and Josh,’ like a lot so I was excited to hear he was close,” Rebecca Kelly, a Drake Bell fan, said. She was at the front of the line. Kelly said she did follow his music and liked his singing.

It was the same story for Sean Call and Josh Cole. The two also said they remembered him from the television show.

“He’s always been the cool kid from the 90s and I always wanted to meet the ‘cool kid,'” Call said.

“Growing up, seeing him on TV, ‘Drake and Josh,’ it was perfect timing for me growing up,” Cole said.

Call said if he had the chance to say anything to Bell, he would recite a classic line from the show: “Hug me, brother!”

The show was nearly sold out. Several fans met with Bell after the show to take pictures and get posters and shirts autographed.

As for his television friend, Josh Peck, he released a YouTube vlog on Monday. He and Bell watched their acting stints as kids.
