Eldridge Park gears up for first firework event of the summer season


Scott Heffner, Vice president of marketing at Chemung Canal Trust stops by 18 News Today to discuss the upcoming fireworks show happening at Eldridge Park. 

This will be the first fireworks show in Elmira so far this season. There will be several food vendors, live musical performances, and the rides will be open. All are welcome to attend at no cost. It all starts at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 at Eldridge Park. Fireworks will begin at dusk. 

There will be a shuttle that goes from the Wegmans Parking lot to Eldridge Park to help attendees avoid traffic and parking issues.
