Elmira Enforcers raise more than $1,000 for “Flagman”

The Elmira Enforcers tell 18 News that a raffle held Wednesday night to benefit “Flagman” raised $1,057.

Pete Frank, aka “Flagman,” had been a loyal fan of the Elmira Jackals and followed the Enforcers in their inaugural season, painting his face red, white, and blue and waving an American flag.

According to Frank’s daughter, he is currently in the ICU due to an unknown illness, and the money raised from the raffle will go towards his medical bills.

If you missed the raffle but would still like to help out, you can donate to the family’s Facebook fundraiser by clicking here.
