Graduation season is upon us once again.
Tonight, we watched as 320 students graduated from Elmira High School. They walked across the stage with their diplomas in hand, smiling while their adoring families cheered and looked on beaming with pride.
This years graduating class, was an award-winning one, full of many scholastic and academic achievements.
40% percent of the class is graduating with honors. Meanwhile, 70% of them are going straight to 2 or 4-year colleges.
As with all graduations, it’s a very bittersweet time. You’re happy to be moving on, but you’re also sad to say goodbye to the people and places you hold so dear.
As the students sang their alma mater one last time, they sang with a firm assurance that their greatest adventures lie ahead.
