An Elmira man is back behind bars after jumping his bail.
39-year-old James Batrowny plead guilty in August of last year to manufacturing meth. He was released on his own recognizance pending his sentencing.
A warrant was issued for Batrowny when he failed to appear in Steuben County Superior Court for that scheduled sentencing.
He was arrested in the City of Elmira on a separate warrant on February 3 and remanded to the Steuben County Jail with no bail.
