James Lee, 45, of Elmira, was arrested by the Elmira Police Department for three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, both Class B Felonies, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Lee was found in possession of heroin and counterfeit US currency upon his arrest.

Lee had previously been convicted in August 2001 for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd in regards to an investigation involving the sale of narcotics within the City of Elmira and is also currently on parole.
