The City of Elmira Department of Public Works has announced their holiday solid waste pickup schedule for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
On Monday, Dec. 24, 2018, Solid Waste Collection for the City of Elmira will be picked up as normal on Monday morning.
City of Elmira and Village of Elmira Heights residents who have a Tuesday pickup schedule are asked to place their garbage and recycling to the curb on Monday evening before 6:00 p.m.
No waste collection will occur on Christmas Day in order to allow employees to enjoy the holiday with their families.
