Five people are facing drug charges after being stopped in the Village of Waverly back on Feb. 27.
Chaz Talada, 21, of Millerton, Bryan Talada, 25, also of Millerton, Josh Chapman, 26, of Waverly, Katelyn Rowe, 26, of Sayre, and Jared Jayne, 23, of Gillett were all charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.
Waverly Police found items commonly used for packing illegal drugs, a drug kit, a 100 milligram morphine sulfate tablet, a hypodermic instrument containing meth and several glass smoking devices in the car during the stop.
Chaz Talada also faces an Aggravated Unlicensed Operation charge. He was released to New York State Police in Horseheads.
Jayne faces a Criminal Impersonation charge after he gave police a false name. He was sent to the Tioga County Jail.
