Snow showers linger into this evening and tonight with most areas seeing an additional coating to an inch across the Twin Tiers. Lows tonight near 30 degrees with snow showers lingering overnight and into early on Thursday.
As this storm system weakens and continues its movement north and east, we see snow showers diminish into Thursday, with flakes still possible through the day but not much expected accumulation wise. Highs on Thursday still below average near the mid to upper 30s. Mostly cloudy conditions remain overnight with winds remaining out of the north west 5-10 mph making it feel like the upper teens to 20s outside. Lows overnight Thursday near the low to mid 20s – so a chilly night expected before warmer air begins to move in for Friday and the weekend ahead.
Increasing clouds and possible showers for Friday evening, with highs reaching the low-40s. Saturday is looking cloudy and rainy with highs near average in the low-40s. Trending slightly warmer than average for Sunday before a cold front draws near, with additional light rain showers in the forecast. Highs on Sunday look to reach the low to mid 50s.
