We had below average temperatures again for your Friday, topping off in the mid 30s across the twin tiers. We also had a wintry mix in some locations today with mostly cloudy skies. We will remain mainly dry overnight with cloudy skies. Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s.
Mainly dry to begin your Saturday with overcast conditions. Temperatures will be a bit warmer as winds begin to turn our of the south east bringing with it warmer conditions and moisture ahead of our next system. Highs on Saturday near 40 degrees. Rainfall moves in for the afternoon hours and continues overnight and lingers into early on Sunday. Lows overnight in the upper 30s – thus keeping all of this precipitation mainly rain.
Sunday warmer air continues to usher in behind a warm front – warming us up well above average for the first of December near the mid to upper 50s. Showers will linger into the afternoon hours, staying mostly cloudy but warm. However, temperatures continue to fall once again into the beginning of the work week – looking below average with light snow chances developing through next week.
