Mostly cloudy skies continue Monday night, and lows near 20 degrees. Winds shift from northwest to southwest ahead of the next disturbance moving into the region.
Mostly cloudy to partly sunny for Tuesday. Highs reaching near average with temperatures in low to mid 30s for the afternoon. Winds shift back from southwest to northwest as a weak disturbance passes the region. Northwest winds along with some moisture from the lakes bringing a chance for light snow showers to flurries for Tuesday night and for early Wednesday. Little to no accumulation for the Twin Tiers, highest amounts being in the higher elevations. Lows Tuesday night in the low to mid 20s.
Light showers and flurries taper throughout Wednesday. Highs Wednesday in the mid to upper 30s. Another quick moving disturbance brings a chance for light snow showers to flurries Thursday. Otherwise, mostly cloudy with highs near 40 degrees. Next storm system moves into the region for the weekend. Models in disagreement as of early week how far north and west this system moves, but there is potential for heavy rainfall Friday night into Saturday. Temperatures for the weekend reaching into the 40s.
