A weak cold front passes the region Tuesday evening bringing some light snow showers to flurries into the overnight. Little to no accumulation for the Twin Tiers. Lows near 20 degrees.
Early northwest winds turn to out of the west putting an end to lingering light showers and flurries by Wednesday afternoon. Limited sunshine, and highs reaching into the mid to upper 30s. Another weak disturbance moves into the region late Wednesday giving us a chance for light showers to flurries for the overnight. Limited to no accumulation for the Twin Tiers.
Chance for flurries to sprinkles continues Thursday. Highs reaching near 40 degrees. Low pressure moves up from the south into our region for the weekend. This system brings plenty of moisture along with some warmth. Chance for rain increases late Friday night, and continues into Saturday. Models in slight disagreement on placement of this system, but there is potential for heavy rainfall into Saturday. Chance for showers continues Sunday. Highs this weekend into the 40s.
