Staying in a lake-effect setup Monday. Heavier snow showers taper Monday evening, but passing showers to flurries still possible into the overnight. Additional snowfall staying light. Lows Monday night in the low to mid-20s.
Lake-effect set up continues for Christmas. Best chances for snowfall staying towards the Finger Lakes, and additional snowfall stays to under an inch. Breaks in cloud cover for the afternoon and highs reach into the low to mid-30s. Passing flurry can’t be ruled out Tuesday night, and lows in the low to mid-20s.
A front stalled over the region Wednesday allowing for passing showers to flurries to still be possible. Most staying dry, though. Highs Wednesday in the mid to upper 30s. Southerly winds late week help usher in warmer than average temperatures, along with more moisture. This is as the next storm system moves into the region. Chance for rain increases Thursday night, becoming likely for us Friday. Highs by Friday into the low to mid-50s. A colder weekend ahead and a chance for showers continues.
