Broken clouds through Friday with the chance for early rain showers for areas in the valley. A wet snow mix is possible for areas of higher terrain. Wake up temperatures hover around the mid-30s to low-40s. A cold front slides through this afternoon, bringing mainly rain showers to the Twin Tiers around lunch time. A breezy southerly wind flow pumps in milder air to the region. With winds out of the south and west, it will allow high temperatures to top out well above average for this time of year, in the upper-40s to near 50 degrees!
As temperatures cool through the evening hours, a few isolated snow showers are possible, but the majority of the Twin Tiers stays mainly dry through the overnight hours. Temperatures drop near 20 degrees heading into the Saturday. Winds out of the west range anywhere, 5-10 mph.
Colder air will move into the Twin Tiers for this weekend with highs staying in the low to mid-30s and overnight lows in the teens to near 20 degrees. Saturday will be mainly dry with some sunshine to look forward to. Clouds increase Sunday as we track another chance for snow showers Sunday evening into the next work week.
