A weak cold front moves into the region Monday night leading to increasing cloud cover and a chance for light rain showers. Patchy fog is possible. Lows Monday night in the low to mid 40s.
Winds shift from southwest to northwest Tuesday, which will usher in cooler and drier air. Lingering rainfall early, then tapering into the afternoon with decreasing cloud cover. Temperatures drop in the wake of a cold front. Highs in the mid to upper 40s early in the day, then low to mid 30s by evening. A weak area of high pressure noses into the region from the north, keeping us quiet for Tuesday night. Concerns though for melted snow refreezing on roadways as temperatures fall Tuesday night in the low to mid 20s.
Next weather-maker makes an impact on the region Wednesday. Turning cloudy in the morning with a chance for freezing rain returning as temperatures sit near freezing, so a light glazing of ice is possible. Freezing rain mixes with and turns to all rain late day. Highs Wednesday approaching 40 degrees. Chance for rain continues Thursday. Rain turns to snow showers Friday as a stronger cold front moves through the region. Closer to average highs for the weekend.
