*The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 1 pm Saturday and includes Schuyler, Steuben, Tompkins, and Yates counties.*
Main concern Friday night into the weekend continues to be strong gusty westerly winds. Wind gusts in advisory locations may reach 50-55 mph. Strong gusts may lead to down trees and power lines. Temperatures fall to near 10 degrees for lows, and wind chills near -10 degrees possible into early Saturday. Stray flurries possible under intervals of clouds.
Any lingering snowfall comes to an end early Saturday as high pressure takes hold over the region. Decreasing cloud cover into the afternoon.
