Forecast Discussion 3/11/19 AM: Warming trend continues into mid week

News

AVERAGE HIGH FOR MARCH 11TH: 42°

AVERAGE LOW FOR MARCH 11TH: 21°

MONDAY SUNRISE: 7:26 AM

MONDAY SUNSET: 7:09 PM

We wake up this morning to temperatures in the low 30s with mostly cloudy skies. Showers will linger into the afternoon with winds out of the west 5-15 mph, gusts of 25+ possible, this will allow temperatures to warm close to average. Highs today in the low 40s with some pokes of sunshine through the afternoon, as clouds decrease. Tonight the chance for snow showers develops, with lows near average once again in the low 20s.

Heading into Tuesday we watch slightly cooler conditions move in with highs in the mid to upper 30s, but some sunshine will return as clouds continue to decrease as our next area of high pressure moves on in. Wednesday high pressure will have full control with mostly sunny skies and temperatures feeling very spring-like, close to 50 degrees.

The warming trend looks to continue into late week as we track out next storm system moving in late Thursday into Friday. This will bring the chance for rain showers Thursday and the chance for rain into Friday. Southerly flow will allow us to warm up, well above average Thursday with highs in the 50s and Friday where we could reach close to 60 degrees.
