The first day of spring was a beautiful one throughout the Twin Tiers, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 50s. Unfortunately, winter just doesn’t want to let go of the area quite yet.
Clouds will continue to build during the overnight hours, with the possibility of some scattered rain and snow showers during the early morning hours Thursday. Dry for most of the day Thursday, before the next front arrives from the south Thursday night. Plenty of rain and the possibility of a wintry mix are in store through Friday morning, with another front arriving out of the west on Friday. Snow showers expected throughout the day, with highs dropping into the low 40s.
Temperature rebound to near 60 by Sunday, with another chance of showers coming Monday. Dry conditions near average expected midweek, with plenty of sunshine in store.
