High pressure moves east off the coast and the next weather-maker moves into the region Thursday. Turning cloudy late day with a chance for light rain showers through the overnight. Winds out of the southwest 0-10 mph and lows in the low to mid 40s.

Frontal boundary stalls over the region into early Friday increasing our chance for showers. Showers likely to start the day, then a chance for showers through the afternoon and evening. The heaviest rainfall in the morning and total rainfall through the day of 0.25-0.50 possible. Cloudy skies continue and highs near 50 degrees. Winds light through the afternoon. Chance for light showers overnight and lows near 40 degrees.

Low pressure moves into the Great Lakes for the weekend drawing plenty of moisture along with warmer temperatures for Saturday. Chance for showers early in the day, but rainfall will mostly be in western NY to start. Showers become likely late Saturday but staying as rainfall. Gusty southerly winds help temperatures reach into the low 60s for highs. This low pressure system drags a cold front through the region late Saturday into Sunday, which drops our temperatures through the day Sunday. Gusty northwest winds helping the colder air move into the region. Lingering rainfall mixes with and turns to light snowfall through the day. High pressure brings dry weather and some sunshine for early next week.
