Rain arrives late Tuesday afternoon and continues into the night. High pressure to the north eventually pushes rainfall south putting an end to the rain late. Patchy fog will continue into early Wednesday. Rainfall amount through the night of 0.10-0.50″ possible, highest amounts in the Southern Tier. Lows Tuesday night in the mid to upper 30s.
Patchy fog early Wednesday and partial sunshine expected into the afternoon. Highs Wednesday in the low 60s. Clouds return from south to north for the evening as a chance for showers returns after dark with a warm front lifting through the region. Rainfall Wednesday night into Thursday staying under 0.50″. Lows Wednesday night into the 40s.
Limited sunshine for Thursday with a chance for light spotty showers. Gusty south winds usher in warmer temperatures with highs reaching into the mid to upper 60s. Low pressure impacting the region Friday and Saturday with the potential for heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms also possible, something to keep our eye on through the next few days.
