A warm front approaching the region Wednesday night brings increasing cloud cover and the chance for showers overnight. Rainfall amounts staying light anywhere from 0-0.10″. Winds increasing out of the south 5 to 15 mph. Lows Wednesday night in the mid to upper 40s.

Winds staying strong for Thursday out of the south 10-20 mph with gusts of 30 mph or more possible. Winds still working in favor of warmer than average highs with temperatures reaching into the mid to upper 60s for the afternoon. Any rainfall during the day stays light with limited sunshine expected. Lows Thursday night into the 50s.

A strong area of low pressure impacting the region for the end of the workweek. Plenty of moisture coming along with this system bring the potential for heavy rainfall. Best timing for heavy rain will be late day Friday into the overnight with more rain continuing for Saturday. Thunderstorms also possible which may produce strong gusty winds. Expecting total rainfall of 1-2″, so localized flash flooding is possible. Highs Friday and Saturday near 70 degrees. Gusty winds continue into the weekend, still out of the south working in favor of the warmer than average temperatures. Rainy start to the weekend and chance for showers lingers for Sunday. Highs Sunday near 60 degrees.
