TUESDAY SUNSET: 7:57 PM
A warm day on tap for your Tuesday but first we wake up to some patchy fog across the region this morning. We wake up to some sunshine once the fog lifts out of the region – but clouds will increase into the afternoon as a cold front approaches the Twin Tiers. Winds will be out of the south 5-15 mph ahead of the front allowing temperatures to warm this afternoon into the mid to upper 70s. Shower and storm chances arrive this afternoon as the cold front beings to pass through. Any thunderstorms look to be weak in nature with rainfall amounts staying under a quarter of an inch.
Shower and storm chances continue into tonight with lows falling into the 40s. We continue to dry out overnight and into midweek with sunshine returning. However, we will be notivibly cooler Wednesday, with highs only near 60 degrees, which is actually near average for this time of year. Winds will be out of the west and northwest, breezy at times 10-20mph for the day.
We stay dry into Thursday with highs back into the upper 60s with our next disturbance moving towards the region will increase cloud cover late and bring in rain chances for Friday. Highs Friday near the mid-60s, we will continue to track the location and path of this system because it will depict if we see light showers or heavy rainfall.
