AVERAGE HIGH FOR APRIL 26TH: 63°
AVERAGE LOW FOR APRIL 26TH: 37°
FRIDAY SUNRISE: 6:10 AM
FRIDAY SUNSET: 8:00 PM
We track and area of low pressure moving its way through the Twin Tiers today bringing with it the chance for rainfall throughout your friday. Patchy fog is possible early this morning, remaining mostly cloudy today with high temperatures in the mid 60s.
Rainfall this afternoon and evening may be heavy at times, even a rumble of thunder is possible anytime after 5pm. We are not looking at anything severe but total rainfall from this system may range from 0.50″-1.00″, so minor localized flooding may be possible with any heavy downpours. Take note if you live in any areas that are highly flood-prone. Gusty winds will continue out of the south over 25 mph at times. Shower chances continue tonight with lows falling to near 40 degrees.
Cooler air enters the region this weekend with light showers lingering early Saturday with some sunshine into the afternoon. Saturday right now is tracking on the drier side with more clouds than sunshine, but the pick day for outdoor plans. Winds out of the north and west could be gusty at times allowing temperatures to only top off near 50 degrees. The chance for showers arrives once again into Sunday, but with overnight lows Saturday in the low 30s, the chance for snow and rain showers does exist into Sunday morning. Temperatures then warm into the 40s.
Warmer temperatures look to return into next week along with shower chances once again.
