Four charged in Bath meth bust

Four Steuben County residents are behind bars following a meth bust in Bath.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at a home on Howell street in the village on Saturday.

46-year-old Jerry Barnes Jr., 48-year-old Martha Barnes, and 51-year-old John Landsborough, of Bath, as well as 38-year-old Emily Ayers, of Corning, were all charged with unlawful manufacture of meth, a class D felony.

Martha Barnes and Emily Ayers were sent to the Steuben County jail on $10,000 cash bail, while Jerry Barnes Jr. and John Landsborough were sent to the jail on $50,000 cash bail.

They are all expected to appear in court at a later date.
