The Corning-Painted Post High School winter guard teams came returned home Saturday night after winning in the Northeast Color Guard Circuit championship.
The school’s winter guard varsity team took first place in the circuit’s Scholastic A-class competition.
C-PP faced competition from schools from Medina and Orchard Park.
The school’s junior-varsity team competed for the first time, in the Regional A-class category.
That team placed seventh in the category against seven other schools.
The competition took place at Gates-Chili High School.
