His Tabernacle Church hosted a Easter event for kids and their families.
Originally slated to be a “Helicopter Egg Drop,” the day was re-tooled slightly for kids to race out onto the church’s grounds and grab as many eggs as possible minus the aformentioned aerial dynamic.
That disapppoint anyone, as sizable crowd gatherd for a fun-filled day. One parent was happy to have her daughters experience the Easter festivities.
“I’m very excited,” said Kelli Jackson. “Lots of eggs, lots of people. Lot’s of Easter fun,” added Jackson.
The Church’s Pastor Michael Specne was on hand. He emphasized the need for community outreach and togetherness this Easter season and beyond.
“The greatest thing we have the opportunity to do is share time with family,” said Spencer. “People misunderstand what God’s purpose was. It was to start a family. That’s why he sent his only son for us,” added Spencer.
