Hornell Police Charge Husband and Wife with Criminal Possession, Endangering the Welfare of Child


Hornell Police arrested a husband and wife after finding several packets of heroin in their residence on Adsit St. around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers said it happened around 1 a.m. on Adsit St. After getting a  warrant to search the home, they found 9 packets of heroin pre-packaged for sale.

Shannon Brockway, 22 and Demetria Brockway, 24 both of Hornell were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 3 counts each of Endangering the Welfare of a Child because there were three kids in the home at the time of the arrests.

They were arraigned in Hornell City Court Saturday morning were then taken to Steuben County Jail.
