PAINTED POST, N.Y. (WETM) – The New York State Police received a complaint from the owner of B & W Towing on Friday, August 2nd. The owner of the business said that one of their new employees had $130 stolen from their wallet.
After reviewing the security footage it was revealed that Rachel Cantineri, age 34 of Savona, took the cash from the wallet.
Troopers tried to get Cantineri to return the cash but she refused. She was later located at her boyfriend’s place of work and arrested for petit larceny .
She was transported to the State Police barracks in Painted Post and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Erwin Court on August 7th.
