More than a month after a deadly limousine accident killed 20 people the investigation into exactly what happened continues. It’s an effort between local, state, and federal agencies to get to the bottom of this tragedy.
Right now the investigation is centering around the major piece of evidence–the limo itself. News 10 spoke with Schoharie County District Attorney Susan Mallery on Monday who says her team is taking their time gathering all the evidence they need. The National Transportation Safety Board has been in the wings waiting to get their hands on the vehicle.
The Schoharie County District Attorney’s case would focus on the criminal charges against Prestige Limo operator Nauman Hussain, while the NTSB would focus on safety regulations.
The investigation is ongoing.
