Voters in the Elmira Heights School District Tuesday voted by a 210 to 47 margin to approve a $12.5 million capital project to do work at its two schools.

School District Superintendent Mary Beth Fiore says it includes upgrades to roofs, parking lots, electrical work and other maintenance that targets health, safety and security upgrades.

Fiore says the project will not increase school property taxes in the district.
