UPDATE: The boil advisory in Waverly has been lifted.
UPDATE: Waverly DPW responded to another water main break on Cadwell Ave. The road and water is shut between Chemung Street and Clinton Avenue. Nearby residents may experience low water pressure. The boil-water advisory is still in effect for residents on the stretch of Clinton Avenue between Clark and Lincoln Streets.
UPDATE: Due to the water main break the Waverly water dept. is advising residents on Clinton Ave., between Clark Street and Lincoln Street, to boil water until further notice. This advisory is expected to remain in effect until Monday, Feb. 17 and officials believe the water main broke due to the extreme changes in weather we have been experiencing lately.
The Village of Waverly public works is currently working on a water main break on Clinton Ave in Waverly.
The street has been shut down between Waverly Street and Orchard Street in order for public works officials to get the work done that is needed for residents to be able to have water again.
All water resources have been shut off between Clark Street and Lincoln Street and residents near the area may have low water pressure.
