A boil water advisory has been lifted after a water main break in Corning on Tuesday night.
The water was tested for two days in a row and is now deemed safe enough to drink.
A few properties were given the advisory notice after the water main break happened on Cluthra Lane around 8:00 P.M.
Corning Center along with surrounding properties dealt with flooding outdoors and then icing overnight.
Crews worked to fix the break within 20 minutes and pumped water to stop flooding throughout the early morning hours.
