Santa Claus is coming to town and his stop is the Wegmans in Corning.
Families and their children can enjoy ‘Breakfast with Santa’ on Saturday while he takes photos with visitors.
The event itself is free but the breakfast bar is not which will be available from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.
Live reindeer will be in the parking lot and you’re encouraged to bring your own camera to take photos.
Expect to join in on some free cookie decorating, face painting, and color activities as well.
“One of our values is just serving the communities that we’re in and finding ways to help engage,” Store Chef Thomas Spencer said. “My personal thing is to engage with the children of our community, help them with healthy eating, help them learn about food, and of course, it’s just a great place to be here at Wegmans for the community.”
The gifts wrapped under the tree in the Market Cafe eating area are gingerbread houses for cooking classes later in the day. These are also at a cost and Santa will hand the gift-wrapped boxes out to the children who are signed up for the classes.
Again, the event is this Saturday, December 16 with the breakfast bar from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., but Santa will be there all day.
The address is 24 Bridge Street.
