The Elmira Police Department tells 18 News they are investigating a burglary at a home on Morrow Street in Elmira, and according to Elmira Enforcers owner Robbie Nichols the home is that of the late hockey fan Pete “Flagman” Frank.

Nichols tells 18 News that a police report was filed after the break-in was discovered following Frank’s death over the weekend.

Flagman had been a consistent presence in the Elmira hockey community, painting his face red, white, and blue and waving a flag at Jackal and Enforcers games.
