By a wide margin tonight voters in the Campbell-Savona School District approve a 10.9 million dollar Capitol Improvement Project.
The vote was 188 in favor with 75 voters opposed.
The project includes a wide range of maintenance and improvement projects at both the Junior Senior High in Campbell and the Elementary School in Savona.
It calls for renovations to roofs, parking lots, heating systems and new pool locker rooms.
It also includes a new fire alarm system, school playground fencing, and gym bleachers at the high school.
The district Superintendent says the work is essential in preserving the investment tax payers have already made in the buildings.
