Canisteo-Greenwood wrestling program to honor the legacy of Trooper Nicholas Clark

The high school where new York State Trooper Nicholas Clark graduated from is honoring him with a special ceremony. 

Canisteo-Greenwood High School wrestling program is honoring his legacy with a new wrestling mat. 

Clark was a star athlete at the school and was a New York state Champion wrestler in 2006. Clark also played football for the high school and for Alfred University. He also tried out for Buffalo Bills at one time.

Clark was killed in the line of duty back in July while responding to a domestic dispute in the Town of Erwin.

The ceremony will be taking place next Tuesday, Jan. 8th at 6 p.m. in the high school’s gymnasium.
