Starting Monday, the Chemung County Board of Elections will have extended business hours or voters who need an absentee ballot.

The board will be open until 7 p.m. on select days, for those who still want to vote in the November 6 elections.

Voters can obtain an absentee ballot by either calling the Board of Elections at (607) 737-5475. Voters can also visit in person at the board’s offices located at 378 South Main Street in Elmira.

The extended hours are as follows:

Monday, October 22^nd until 7:00 PM
Wednesday, October 24^th until 7:00 PM 
Saturday, October 27^th from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon
Tuesday, October 30^th until 7:00PM
Thursday, November 1^st until 7:00 PM
Saturday, November 3^rd from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon
