Cohocton man arrested on drug charges

New York State Police and the Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) conducted an investigation on Jan. 6 that resulted in the arrest of Kenneth T. Turner Jr., 30, of Cohocton, N.Y.

Troopers seized approximately 5.3 ounces of suspected crystal methamphetamine, approximately 25 grams of marijuana, $684 in U.S. currency, and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the Town of Cohocton.

Turner was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree (A-II Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (B Felony), and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (Violation).  

Turner was arraigned in the Village of Cohocton Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
