ORGANIZERS OF A PAINTED POST TRADITION SAY THEY NEED MORE HELP IN PUTTING ON NEXT YEAR’S EVENT.

COLONIAL DAYS BEGAN BACK IN JUNE, 1964 AND IS THE SECOND LARGEST JUDGED PARADE IN NEW YORK, NEXT TO MACY’S.

IT FEATURES HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BANDS AND THE MISS COLONIAL DAYS PAGAENT.
BUT FEWER AND FEWER PEOPLE ARE HELPING OUT.

A MEETING LAST NIGHT DISCUSSED NEW FUNDRAISING IDEAS AND WAYS TO ATTRACT MORE VOLUNTEERS.
