Corning Community College hosted its final presidential candidate on campus on January 30.
Dr. William Mullaney is the current vice president of academic affairs at Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey. He grew up on Long Island, and attended school at the University of Virginia, the University of California, San Diego and Tulane University.
Dr. Mullaney met with multiple faculty members, who had the opportunity to ask him questions about his vision for CCC and the direction he would like to take it in.
“I’d like to help the college expand more into career and technical education,” Mullaney said. “I think it’s imperative that the college respond more directly to community needs in terms of providing a qualified and skilled workforce.”
CCC hopes to announce a chosen candidate by the end of March.
