The Elmira man who is a suspect in the disappearance of his girlfriend in Florida over four years ago is out of prison.
The New York State Department of Corrections says David Perry was paroled from the Clinton Correctional Facility Wednesday.
Perry was serving time on unrelated charges of Grand Larceny and Insurance Fraud.
Police say he defrauded the state insurance fund of over $100-thousand by faking an injury so he could retire and collect disability payments.
His former girlfriend, kelly rothwell, was last seen on March 12th of 2011, the day she told a friend she was going to end her relationship with Perry.
She has not been seen since.
Officials say Perry was the last person to see Rothwell alive and that he did not cooperate with their investigation.
