A month long investigation into alleged drug activity in Corning resulted in the arrest of eight people on Thursday.

Officers executed a search warrant at about 10:30 p.m. and seized a large amount of powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and cash during the raid at 196 Sunset Dr. in Corning. 

A loaded handgun was also recovered. The weapon had been reported stolen from Charlotte, N.C. Two bulletproof vests, similar to what police wear, were also recovered from the scene. 

32-year-old Jereck D. Abrams of Sly Ave in Corning is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a firearm. Abrams was sent to the Steuben County Jail without bail. 

24-year-old Shelby M. Green of 196 Sunset Dr. in Corning is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a firearm. Green is also charged with Criminal Nuisance in the first degree. She was sent to jail on $50,000 cash bail. 

24-year-old Myranda M. Hogan of 196 Sunset Dr. in Corning is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a firearm. Hogan is also charged with Criminal Nuisance in the first degree. She was sent to jail on $50,000 cash bail. 

22-year-old Lionel Teasley of 196 Sunset Dr. in Corning is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a firearm. He was sent to jail with no bail. 

23-year-old Tavis D. Smith-Hogan of 7447 Claymont Dr. in Charlotte N.C. is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a firearm. Smith-Hodan is also charged as being a fugitive from Justice because he is wanted for Kidnapping from the State of Tennessee. He was sent to jail with no bail. 

22-year-old Delon L. Brown of Philadelphia is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a firearm. Brown is also charged with being a Fugitive from Justice because he is wanted for Murder in the City of Philadelphia, Pa. Brown is featured as one of Philadelphia’s Most Wanted. It is alleged that he committed Murder by beating in the City of Philadelphia. He was sent to jail with no bail. 

26-year-old Alina Buinicki of Painted Post is charged with Loitering in the first degree, a class B misdemeanor. She was released on an appearance ticket. 

24-year-old Alyssa Butler of Painted Post is charged with Loitering in the first degree, a class B misdemeanor. She was also released on an appearance ticket.
