The dinner will be held at Frederick Douglass Memorial AME Zion Church on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 6-8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The discussion will be centered around homelessness and sex trafficking in the area. For more details on the event, visit the organization’s Facebook page.
The Elmira Poor People’s Campaign will also host an event in February to campain for the New York Health Act. That event will be held February 13, at noon at the Elmira riverside Holiday Inn. Lunch will be included.
