The Elmira man accused of shooting and killing another man on Elmira’s Southside has plead not guilty to all charges.
24-year-old Lawrence Baker is charged with second-degree murder, in connection to the death of 24-year-old Najee Holmes.
He was arraigned Monday morning at the Chemung County Court.
Authorities say Baker allegedly intentionally killed Holmes by shooting him in the back on Feb. 13 on Baty Street.
In addition to the murder charge, Baker is also charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a firearm.
Bail has been set at one million dollars cash, with two million dollars property bond.
His next court date is set for March 25.
