Local kids attended “Reading in the Square” on Tuesday morning. It’s a free summer long program for children and their families.
“I like coming down to Corning, walking around Market Street. We come down and meet the kid’s grandparents here, they live just up the road. So it’s a good time to get together and listen to good stories, some of them we’ve never heard before. I think it’s important to share stories with kids and have them exposed to all different kinds of book and all different kinds of people reading them,” Sarah Crause said. She attended the event with her two children.
There will be a final “Reading in the Square” event on Thursday, August 25th.
