While much of the country braces for subzero and near subzero temperatures in the coming days, one group of workers will be carrying on with business as usual – postal workers.
Mail carriers, except those in the most extreme conditions, will be reporting to work as usual while the nation is blasted with cold arctic air this week. WIth many of them gearing up to battle the elements to make sure your mail is delivered in a timely fasion, there are a few ways you can help make their jobs a little bit easier.
“It would be nice if people could keep their sidewalks and driveways shoveled,” said Corning mail carrier Mark Ross. “Other than that, it’s just another day at the office.”
