A 43-year-old Waverly man is in jail after a traffic stop uncovers methamphetamines on Sunday evening, Feb. 10.
Waverly Police said the man, James Ray Hill Jr. was arrested after police found almost an ounce of methamphetamines and two scales. Each scale, police said, had traces of methamphetamine residue.
Police added Hill originally failed to stop for police in Sayre, Pa. He was seen by police pulling into a private driveway within the Village of Waverly.
Hill was arraigned in the Waverly Court and is in the Tioga County, New York jail. He awaits further legal action.
He faces multiple charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
